The widening requirement for Lemon Street has been reversed, with the city returning a 34-foot-wide roadway section back to the Buddhist Town. The river embankment project will be a consideration at Phase Two. The wastewater treatment proposal has also received preliminary approval in principle. The design plans for the four Phase One developments \u2014 Zheng Xing Yuan, True Dharma Temple, Macang Yuan, and Fa Chan Temple \u2014 have all been revised and completed. As a result, the Buddhist Town Community Association (BTCA), formed jointly by these four Phase One development owners, has naturally come into being and will officially begin operations later this year. The Holy Heavenly Lake Buddhist Town Development Committee will continue focusing on construction and development work, while the newly established Buddhist Town Community Association will take over the organization of broader community activities and programs.
