Angwang Khyentse Rinpoche is the abbot of Gensa Temple of the Sakya sect. The eighty-seven year-old rinpoche is the key successor to the dharma lineage passed onto him by H.H. Dzongsar Khyentse Chokyi Lodro II, who was the most virtuous practitioner in all of Tibet. The rinpoche, who is in solitary retreat on a long-term basis, is deeply respected by all of the monasteries of the Sakya sect. He possesses supernatural powers, such as the ability to generate inner-heat from his belly that can thoroughly cook an egg within a few minutes. His tummo (inner-heat) powers are second only to H.E.
