Echoes of Holy Heavenly Lake Events in June
The ripples of the summer activities at Holy Heavenly Lake are still resonating in the hearts of many! We continue to receive responses, especially on the inspirational panel discussion. People felt connected, and inspired and motivated to improve themselves. Questions arose about how to invite more young people to participate, how to shared ideas online, how to reach out to overseas participants, etc. Many ideas emerged, all centered around mutual support and encouragement, enabling those who cannot travel long distances annually to participate. Cultivating a heart that benefits all beings and promoting a life oriented towards the righteous path of True Dharma is exactly what Buddhist Town is about!
Buddhist Town is an event platform centered on Buddhist cultural tourism where everyone, whether Buddhist or not, can participate. This first stage of our cultural forum will focus on establishing a consensus on the True Dharma and its promotion, and encouraging more individuals to learn to apply the correct understanding and views in everyday life. In mid-July, we held a post-event meeting to review and integrate feedback and ideas and to begin planning activities for 2025. The central marquee area will be retained and expanded for discussions covering topics including promoting Buddhism in English, online interactions, boosting Wiser-ball games in North America, and inviting more Wiserball teams to introduce their activities. There will also be photography contests, live sketching, and so on. We welcome everyone to share your suggestions at any time to help shape Buddhist Town!

Many have responded that the forum should definitely continue next year, acclaiming it as a refreshing tonic for the summer! Some mentioned that they came last year, this year, and will come again next year, encouraging each other to release lotus prayer lanterns at Holy Heavenly Lake. We sincerely thank everyone for their participation and dedication. The peaceful atmosphere and the perfection of all endeavors are the results of our collective wishes and efforts!”
Upcoming Events
On Sunday, August 18th, we will be working on dividing and planting lotus plants near lakeside. All are welcome to join! In mid-October, we will do a Fall cleanup event, also a volunteer gathering to exchange ideas, where we will also distribute the 2025 Holy Heavenly Lake desk calendar featuring beautiful seasonal lake views from past years.
