Deliberation on the Misconducts of Yang Hui Jun and Cai Zhen Mei

        On the evening of March 29, 2022, while the holy bodies of Namo Dorje Chang Buddha III and Namo Fomu Yuhua Shouzhi Wang, Holy Mother the Great Mahasattva, still lying in repose in the Main Hall of the Holy Miracle Temple, all Buddhist practitioners followed the rules by the Holy Miracle Temple, piously chanting and praying, beseeching the return of the great Buddha and Fomu to this Saha world. However, Cai Zhen Mei (Dharma name: Ge Zhuo Nang Tsui) and Yang Hui Jun (Dharma name: Rang Qiung Nuo Sang) these two disregarded the rules set by the Holy Miracle Temple during this Buddhist event, disobeyed the arrangement by staff on duty, barked inside the Main Hall, and physically attacked bhikkhunis. They disrespected the solemnity of this Dharma event, had no regard for the dignity of being Buddhists, and executed utmost apostasy and mutiny.

        The behaviors of Cai Zhen Mei and Yang Hui Jun, barking in the Main Hall and physically attacking others, have inflicted egregious disturbance among Buddhist practitioners. Their words and deeds have atrociously deviated from the teachings of the Buddha. They have violated the fundamental Buddhist code of ethics, morality, and cultivating principles. Meanwhile, the investigation by the Group of the Holy Gurus determined that these two have seriously regressed. Therefore, the World Buddhism Association Headquarters deliberates: We withdraw the Rinpoche status of Cai Jen Mei and Yang Hui Jun and cancel all of their Blue Button and Black Button rankings. From now on, these two are forbidden to enter the Holy Miracle Temple. If they publicly and sincerely repent and reapply for their membership, the Headquarters will rigorously investigate their words and deeds and proctor a qualifying examination. Only afterward will their status and ranks be determined.

        Meanwhile, for beseeching the return of Namo Dorje Chang Buddha III and Namo Fomu Yuhua Shouzhi Wang, Holy Mother the Great Mahasattva to this Saha world, the public reverently gathered at the Holy Miracle Temple and held Dharma Assemblies of chanting Buddhist sutras. Those who had received tremendous blessings from the Buddha in the past should have attended the Dharma Assemblies to plead sincerely. However, some of them not only have significantly violated the precepts but also have deviated from the most fundamental code of ethics and morality and a heart of piety. Although they live in Los Angeles, they resort to trickery and conniving schemes. For their self-interest and personal gain from doing multiple-level-marketing business, they ungratefully and despicably avoided attending the Dharma Assemblies. Furthermore, some people pretended to be infected by Covid-19 to avoid joining the prayer assemblies at the Holy Miracle Temple. Worst of all, some people faked illness or family matters and had not stepped into the Holy Miracle Temple to prostrate and pay their respect for the past several tens of days. These disloyal, unfilial, and evil behaviors are utmost reprehensible and deplorable; they are angrily decried by Heaven and earth and despised by the public. We sincerely hope those who had committed such despicable acts will show remorseful penance, thoroughly reform and redeem themselves, return from the strayed and back to the right path, and turn over a new leaf! The Headquarters will look into the specific and concrete evidence and circumstances before making the final deliberation.
